I am finally getting a new F55 mini cooper S and I am so excited! I tried googling for some answers but I had some specific questions...

1. Anyone have the head up display but NOT the navigation system? The one I'm getting does not have nav, and it seems like you cannot retrofit it? Would the nav show up on the HUD if I used my phone (doesn't seem like it)?

2. What does Mini Connected for iPhones do that Android can't? Based on what I found it seems Androids can only stream via Bluetooth (which is fine with me). I may consider getting an iPod Touch for my music but I'd rather not have to get a new phone.

3. So it seems like extended maintenance is around $1895 and extended warranty ranges from $2095 to $2850 depending on years/mileage. I drive only about 5000-7000 miles (yes, 5k) a year and so far I'm thinking I'll have my mini for 5 or 6 years (hopefully longer if everything stays great), so that's like only 30k-42k miles total. Is it worth getting it in my case?
