I just ordered my new Mini which I think will be a nice upgrade after 10 years with my '06 Cooper hardtop. My new car is a 4-door Cooper S. It is going to have a blue body, white top, black bonnet stripes, and black wheels. The black sunroof on the white top provides a nice contrast with the black bonnet stripes in the stock photo.

Does anybody have any photos of a car in the wild with a white top and black stripes? All I can seem to find is cars with matching tops/stripes.

Sweet car, but yeah I'm looking for a white top and black stripes. I think it looks awesome but I haven't seen one in the wild yet.

This is my 4 door hardtop. No strips on roof due to sunroof.

I didn't know stripes on the roof was an option. I always thought they were on the front and/or sides. That is a sweet looking car though. I'm getting a 4 door as well.

 

Thanks! This is my second Mini. Would love to move down to a 2 door but with kids it is a pain to move the seats to let them in.

Shopminiusa.com has the mini sport strips for the roof. Looks silly when most of the roof is a window. If I did not have a sunroof I probably would have had it put on.

 

I see... cool! I am getting a 4 door. I own a 1st gen hardtop that will soon go up for sale. I wanted something I can grow into but only if it handled like a 2 door Cooper. I think I found my car. The wait is really tough though.

I think it would have looked better if the stripes continued across the spoiler. I know it's not black on white .. but it obviously can be done.

Sure thing. BTW, My car came with black bonnet strips. As part of the purchase deal, the dealer had them removed and had the full sport stripe kit installed for me.
