Thoughts on Mercedes-Benz CLA?

How many of you, if any, have considered buying a CLA before getting your F56? Also, what are your thoughts on the CLA?

I considered the CLA when they first came out. The local dealer was loading them up with every available option and not interested in taking an order. Recently I read the reliability hasn't been good (but I didn't verify it as fact.)

Isn't the GLA more comparable (except way more expensive, optioned out)

The interior of the CLA does have a retro look to it with the vents.

CLA 250 and BMW 228i are both nice cars, but are huge compared to the MINI F56. Both push $40K+ with some decent options. I'd still opt for a MCS with a ton of options for les$ or a fully loaded JCW for the same money.

Both look like every other sedan/coupe on the road. If I were looking for a upscale family sedan, I'd certainly consider either. If I wanted performance in a coupe and hand deeper pockets, I'd probably opt for the BMW M2.
