Duell AG

Anyone have any luck contacting them? They just posted this on Instagram saying it's now available for sale but didn't leave a link. Thanks

Shouldn't cost more than a couple grand. Can't help but notice the scoop. You'd have to modify your hood on a Mini to take advantage of that. Unlike the 1st and 2nd generation cars, the hood scoop on the F5x is useless.

It sure is pretty though! 😉
I'm obsessed with a lot of their products they're making for the F56.

2nd gen scoop is also non-functional, unless modified (i.e. AEM intake).
1st gen was he only that used the scoop, in that case for the intercooler that was sitting on top of engine. My R56s actually has the scoop closed off :(

But the block can be removed. I had the AEM on my R56. If you remove the plug/block on the F56 the resulting "scoop" is tiny and is obstructed by metal body work. The scoop was one of the first things I looked at when i got mine, because I was hoping to fit another AEM type intake. Not possible without extensive modification.

Also leery of spending that kind of money with a company who's only online presence in the US seems to be Facebook.

As far as I'm aware the duell ag intake consists of a new bonnet aswell, as to use it as a scoop intake.

You find some information at:

There are 2 versions one with the aerohood and one without. Lead-times are 3 weeks.

The pertinent info is... "V1 brings in a original S or JCW slightly more power. But more important is the throughput and volume. Advantage is compared to other intake systems that the air is not drawn from the engine compartment is so much cooler."

V1 being the stock hood= $1632 and change
V2 with DuelL hood= $1959 and change
Add to this the shipping cost and taxes, not to mention installation if required.

Little too rich for my blood for minimal gain.
