Anyone ever get custom Center Wheel Caps

Question for everyone, with lots of people getting custom wheels have any of you ever gotten center wheel caps made? I have a set of NM Engineering 18x8 RSe52s that are the VW wheel but Jerry is doing his CNC work to make them fit my 2016 F56 JCW, the RS center caps are bla and I want to change them out.

I pondered this for a while since my wheels (VW Heritage) were never made for anything other than the stock dogdish covers, then I discovered a really simple way to get the stock Mini caps on with O-rings.

What are you looking for? I'm not sure if these are factory caps but these pics show MINI and JCW caps NM wheels.

NM Engineering does sale 18x7.5 wheels that will only need a 5mm spacer to help clear the JCW big brimbos and can use your stock wheel cap but I'm not getting those, going the custom route with Jerry doing some cncing work so I'll have the 18x8s which are made for VWs but I wont have to do spacers to get them to clear the brakes.

So what's different regarding the center cap hole in the wheel... if they're custom, can't they machine the wheel to fit the MINI caps?

I've done caps for an Abarth, and Rays Nissan GTR wheels, but the existing cap was used as a base. It can get expensive though, the GTR caps were about $600 and $250 for the Abarth. Not a lot of people want to spend that much on center caps, but it's all in the details for some.

It's already a few milimeters bigger then the stock JCW ones after looking up the OEM part size, stock says 56mm and these are like 65 if I remember right, I'm traveling at the minute so I don't remember. All I know is Jerry said I would have to use the RS ones and some cnc work is all that has to be done for the rims to fit so I figured I would look to get some custom JCW ones made. I wish I had more tech specs for you but I don't, I know Pedro posted up on his blog about Jerry working his magic.

You can have custom decals made: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...ter+cap+decals

The OEM center cap logo plaque is 50mm diameter. You can use it if your center cap is close in size. Available in MINI or JCW styles: https://www.ecstuning.com/ES65774/

Thank you but those won't fit, the wheels are the VW ones from Jerry but are getting cnc work and something else done so they'll fit the F56 JCW with my dam big *** brakes and not have to use spacers.

Those are the wheels I believe he's using and then doing the custom work too.

I bought some plastic centre caps and decals from eBay. Ended up costing around $30 Australian. I did have to paint the grey caps black before I put the decal on.

Anyone ever get custom Center Wheel Caps-iwmyf16m.jpg
