Hello everyone, I am new here. I have just ordered a Brand new 2015 Mini Cooper S on April 25 at Canada, Pepper White with black roof with the following packages: essential, LED, fully loaded, wired navigation, visibility.

The dealership said they have put in my order for the May production, and hopefully my car will be here around mid June to end of July. I was reading some posts online, and some people said they have ordered their car near Christmas, and have just got their car recently. I hope my car can get there on time so I can still enjoy the summer with my baby! I will be super sad if they ended up delaying the delivery date.

I am wondering if any of you experienced this before?

Once you've got your production number, you can create an account at the Mini owners' Lounge: https://ol.miniusa.com/auth/Home.aspx

The owners' lounge is slow to update, so your best best is to call 1866-ASK-MINI. The phone service is entirely automated. Just enter your production number for an automated update. Just be prepared for about 6-8 week wait for your Mini to touch down at your dealership.

Hang in there - the wait is terrible :D

Imagine being told you car is going to be here on a stated date, then 2 days before told no you have to wait another week. That just happened to me. Delivery has been delayed a week. 😢

Congrats on your order! A general best-guess is 8-10 weeks from production to delivery.

I feel your pain. It's odd to be told 2 days prior to the supposedly delivery date that it would be delayed by one week. Are you sure your baby has indeed arrived in VDC?

My order was placed on 3/28. The production completed on 4/15 -- only to spend the next 3 weeks waiting for transportation. As of today, it is still "at port waiting for vessel." I am in California, so it will be another 4 weeks after the vessel departs. Mine is the 3-cylindar "Justa" which, according to someone on this board, are all assembled in Born, Netherlands. My MA is of no help. Anyone know how to check shipping schedule from there? (Hopefully a direct voyage from Dutch port to CA, not stopping at Southampton, England or other ports.)

The wait is brutal...

Congrats on your order, and yes the wait is TORTURE! MINI USA is great but keeps our anxious customers in a state off...anxiety. MA have all the info you need but keep in mind the port doesn't always give us the full story there is always a delay. Whether the car is taking too long to produce or too long to get on a boat, don't panic, it will arrive within the 8-12 week guideline. Unless the boat sinks
Ps if your 10th diget of your VIN starts with a 3 it's in born, otherwise it's in Oxford

My dealership is close to useless too, i have emailed them to see if they have the production number or not, they just keep on avoiding my emails. They answer all my other questions but the production number. I also called them, and they kept on telling me that their manager is not in at that moment, and will get back to me ASAP.

Ordered mine on April 17th. Fortunately my dealership had an unfilled allocation for a MCS at the factory. They changed the spcs to my color an options and it is scheduled to be an actual car on May 8th 2015.

Normally 8-10 weeks as mentioned before, maybe a bit longer if your dealer has to wait for an allocation.

My paperwork included an production number when we signed the deal. My car received a VIN approx 10 days later.

Congrats on your new MINI.

So i got the Production number today, but can't find anything from the mini lounge. Sales representative told me the system updates itself every 3 weeks or so. so i guess i will check again later.

If the dealer has an upcoming production slot then you will find updates in mini owner's lounge within a day or two. If the dealer has to wait for his turn to get the slot then it might take three weeks. I think former applies to you since you have a production number. Check in day or two, ol will be updated ...

SO it turn out that Mini lounge is for U.S. only. I am in Canada, that's why i couldn't find anything from the mini lounge. The only way for us in Canada to track our car at this stage is to call BMW directly.
