Is it already showing that it's in production on owners lounge? I ordered mine a couple weeks ago and it still just says on order.

Mine is showing on order as well. I was told it will go into production in early April.

Hey , guys! +1 for placing a custom order and suffering through the PAIN of the "Owners Lounge"! How can that system still be as poor as it was five years ago during order #1!?
Newest order placed on March 6th and was provided with a Production # that day. Owners Lounge stated "Scheduled for Production" and then seemed to take a step backwards as it now states "On Order". MA said all they could see is that it was scheduled for production.
Any thoughts? Maybe the MINI Reps at the official phone number know more? Then again, perhaps at least two weeks + is what it now takes to see a VIN.
Wishing good luck to us all!

Congrats!

You'll usually get a VIN the first day or two it actually goes into production.

Welcome to the JCW club. That's gonna be a heckuva Mini, more $$ than mine that's for sure! If they're red stripes it'll look similar to mine. It's cool they let the roof be a different color than black/white/body. Part of me wishes I'd waited a year for the F56 JCW but what got me was falling for the Coupe body style. They're just about done making them. I'll have to test drive a new JCW when my dealer gets some.

I'll definitely share some pictures. I was just checking out the black light rings for the front and rear lights on ECS's site. They will look great on a Midnight Black car. Does anyone know if they make black out kit for the grill?

I agree, I chose the Chili Red roof because it's unique to the JCW. I see very few MINI's around here spec'd that way.

Not yet for the F56, but give it some time and I bet a factory one will be out.

Thanks

I'm not sure if you can only get it on the JCW or if you could get it on a regular Coupe too. Looks great, I had the contrasting black roof stripes removed and just left the red bonnet and boot stripes.

I really liked the Eclipse Gray but they don't offer it anymore. That was my original pick when I looked at buying one back in 2013. Your Coupe looks great!

Thanks. It was the Coupe body style that kept me from waiting for the F56. There are quite a few Minis in Prescott, AZ, very few Coupes. And lo and behold I park at Dennys and there's one exactly like my JCW but a (2012). Go figure, I'll probably never see another one.

Ever since they introduced the contrasting red roof and mirrors, I fell in love and said I had to have that. What I like most about it, is its kinda exotic... When I race past people I see them turn in the mirror probably thinking "what was that?" It looks like nothing else on the road. Get a lot of people who don't even really like MINI's say " wow, that's a nice looking car."

I just noticed the JCW doesn't come with the nicer extended front splitters. They are relatively flat compared to these.

Why do they charge so much for a JCW part?

They should work. There is an image of them installed on the silver and red JCW Concept car if you google the mini part number.

There is also a JCW pro rear diffuser available. However I don't like the look of it as it looks cheap.
