Finally, MINI has updated their Android app. I just got the upgrade. It is long due. I haven't tested it out to the fullest. I hope it comes close or exceeds the iPhone version.

 

I couldn't find it in the Google Play store. Can you provide more specifics on how to find it? Thanks!! -Duane

 

Google Play says it is not available in my country, not compatible with my cell phone and it came out in Oct 2014 - so OP - please share a link to what you found.

It is up to the individual publishers (Pandora, Spotify, etc) to update their Android apps to support MINI Connected. None of them seem interested so far, or else BMW still hasn't made an interface available for Android apps.

Excellent! There is more than one on Google Play! And this one link you posted is compatible with my phone, thanks! Sure I will disappointed, but at least I can try it out.

 

Does the latest version of Mini-Connected support Send to Car again? I use an iPhone. I've not upgraded because that's the main feature I use Mini connected for.

They added a few functions. I use Bluetooth to check texts and emails. You can use this for Facebook and Twitter (although this was available from the old app). You can reply with canned messages. The MINImalism and online search and audio player are new additions I believe. You need to use a USB cable to connect to the app.

Not sure if I will be using this. Just added distraction for me. I can access Pandora and my music with Bluetooth.
