Hi! I've been around for some time (R53 Owner) and finally I placed an Order (02-JAN-15) for a 2015 Mini Cooper S. Dealer said ETA should be aroun 6 to 8 weeks. For you guys that have been in my place.... What would be the real ETA?

Yes, but not for now... I want to enjoy and prepare the car first before going that route as it will be my daily. For now, I want to give the car some "Attitude" (sound, Looks and handling), later, god only knows!

 

Souds like a nice Mini to me. I think 6-8 weeks is about the wait time others have had to endure after placing their orders (except those whose cars were in EPA Jail last fall). You kept your R53 a long time. Did you modify that one?

 

I had it from 2006 to 2009. It had just Intake, 15% pulley (alta both), OBX header and JCW tune and exhaust..

It was almost exactly 8 weeks for me.

Ordered: 8/29/14
Drove home: 10/28/14

 

Seems like people have been getting theirs within 8 weeks of ordering. I ordered mine on 29 August and received 3 October, roughly 5 ½ weeks, don't know how it was so quick as I'm in South Florida so the VDC is roughly 7 hours away and was during the EPA "scandal" but it happened; however since the OP is in Puerto Rico I think it might take little longer than 8 weeks to get there, since it has to be shipped to Brunswick, GA, go through the VDC and then re-shipped to Puerto Rico as I'm sure they don't have a VDC there.

 

I got my 4 door in 6 weeks. The estimated delivery time in the MOL was two days after I took delivery.

 

@MINIMAN1411 @Miniblue2 Thanks for the info!! Iguess that I can add an extra week or two as a result of the transportation to Puerto Rico. Ihope that it arrives with all my specs. Can't wait to have it!!!! :D
