Ananphor.....Any update on how you made out with your MINI?

 

I do have a little bit of an update,

First off, she wasn't totaled! Mostly cosmetic damage minus the radiator.

However, as of February all parts including airbags have come in EXCEPT for the hood.

Long story short, the hood was supposed to come in from Germany around February 14th, but the shipment that BMW/MINI received at their parts warehouse in Germany was damaged so the hoods weren't distributed.

Apparently another shipment of hoods came into the warehouse around the beginning of March, but no word yet on if a hood was shipped out or not.

So I am still waiting for the hood to come in from Germany at the moment, haven't seen her since December

 

WOW.....Sure has been a long haul for you. What are you driving while you are waiting??? That stretch of Hooper Ave./Brick Blvd. is just terrible. Went to dinner at the Koi Garden Friday night and got into it with some flamer in a pick up...What a weenie. Wife was scared crazy.....Guy was a real dork...... Got her back on Monday! 4 long months have finally come to an end! Looks like new!

Sorry for the late reply, but I had been driving my 05' 330i, luckily we didn't sell it!

Hooper ave is a terrible road, too much traffic and too many places to turn off.

 

Congrats on gettig your MINI back! Four months IS a long time, but you wanted it done right. Now it's time to MOTOR ON....just in time for spring! Glad to hear all went well.
