LED Cornering Lights

Driving through a really dark suburb, I had no idea just how intelligent and cool the active cornering headlights are. You just don't get an appreciation for them in the city. They blast light to the relevant side when you have your turn signal on and are going very slowly.

I love the LED headlamps. I'm so glad I got them.

Ours is at the port and I can't wait to agree with you.

I agree, they are indeed nice to have.

For some reason mine only work if the headlight switch is in the "Auto" position. If I turn the switch to full lights, all the way right no cornering lights when turning or with the turn signal.

Anyone else notice this?

According to the Owner's Manual, that is normal. Cornering lights only work while in "Auto". Also only supposed to work below about 25 mph.

I've noticed both aspects to be true, which is why I noticed it best while meandering around some dark cul-de-sacs.

I keep my lights on "auto" 100% of the time. I find the sensors to be highly intelligent, and appropriate to the ambient conditions. It works very well. In fact, one of my favorite aspects of this car is how "intelligent" the systems are.
