Got my MINI!!!

So I finally did it, I got my Mini! Thanks to everyone who replied in my thread a few days ago, you all helped me make up my mind. I went with a Black 2015 Cooper S, Auto, has cold weather package, fully loaded package, premium package, sport package, JCW interior package, along with the sport auto trans with paddle shifters, garage door opener, rear spoiler, auto dimming rear view mirror, "glowing red" interior, sat radio, and the Mini heads up display! I picked it up yesterday and couldn't be happier!! I have ordered the half red/flag mirror covers, side cover things, plus red stripes for the car, all will be done next week. I am trying to upload pics of my new ride, but when I click manage attachments nothing happens. Any help?

Awesome and Congratulations! Can't wait to see a pic after the stripes and mirror caps are added. Love that you ordered the rear spoiler - I love it, but it seems to be a rare item out there. I have not seen many F56 S models with it!

Sometimes those impulse buys are the best. I fell in love with mine the day I drove up and saw it, my wife said "get that car today" but I didn't. Thankfully it was still there 2 months later when I bought it.

Congrats on the New F56, the black on black looks great and with the black evnts. Now just de-chrome the taillight rings and headlight rings with the new jet black to match.

Congrats on the new Mini! Glad you went with all the bells and whistles. It is a fun car to drive and I really like how the navigation system works. The voice commands work very well too. You will really like the HUD. I'm driving my wife's car tomorrow to get one of her windows re-tinted. but at least I get to drive it.

Oh, and congrats on the new TLX too

Thanks! I really am glad I got all the options, in the end the price difference wasn't as bad as I thought it would, and the HUD is awesome so far!! I'm convinced all cars need these!
And I knew that was you on the TLX forum! Glad to see i'm not the only person from Acura that now also has a Mini!!

Loving the HUD, eh? I ordered it on mine but hadn't seen it in person until a test drive the other day. Didn't really care for it but maybe it will grow on me.

I actually do love it, didnt know if I would just because I've never had one before, but yeah its great! You can change its height and brightness settings and change what info is displayed. My only small complaint about it is even with the brightness all the way up, its a bit hard to see with sunglasses on. But if you end up not liking it their is a button 2 switches to the right of the engine start/stop toggle that will retract it back into the dash.

Big thing is the nav info it shows, you get very nice colored graphic maps, all looks very high resolution. May I ask, what other optioned did you order with yours?

Right on, that's good to know!

Ordered with pretty much every option aside for cosmetic interior stuff. I really regretted a few things I skipped when I built my current Countryman so I went all out this time

Make sure to add the JCW floor mats, they really make an interior with the Red Color line accents. I love mine.

Nice! I did the all-weather JCW mats since the car sees a lot of beach time. Should look great with the JCW interior! Didn't do the cloth seats that came with the package though... figured between the beach and dogs they wouldn't wear too well.

ECSTuning's suggestion with black replacements for the chrome would look so sick. I really want the HUD too, do you think it's worth it? Because I probably wouldn't get Nav so it seems pointless without it =/

But congratulations! That is one sexy MINI.

Polarized lenses and the HUD display do not get along. If you wear non-polarized lenses, it isn't so bad -- at least you don't have to tilt your head in order for the display to show.

+ 1 on the JCW Mats

The JCW Pro ( ALL weather) Rubber floor mats are really nice, they have nice edges on the side to catch the dirt and water. But they are almost too nice to get dirty.

So are mine, so although I love the HUD, I usually only use it at night - when I'm not wearing my sunglasses.
