F55/F56 F56 Sales
F56 Sales
Wow... (or ow)... The August sales numbers are in... and it isn't pretty for the F56. We've heard much talk about initial supple issues. I'd love to heart hear, now that several months of full production are in the past, what people think the reason is? Can it be that the world isn't ready for the giant Hardtop?

Look all the way down to 130.

As late as mid 2005 you could sell a 6 month old mini for a profit over sticker due to a 6 month wait time on orders....so not a new situation....feels good though!!
Contrast that with 8333 2014's and 2015's new Fiat 500 cars on cars.com; plus 51 new 2012 Fiat 500 and 361 new 2013 Fiat 500 there too.
So tired of people trying to stir the pot. What exactly is your goal with this thread? July was a record month for MINI sales. I didn't see you make a thread about MINI sales for that month. Curious.
Did your last antagonistic thread not get you enough attention?

51 NEW 2012 Fiats?
What's that say about the car?
If they are sitting around NEW almost 3 years later......I'm not sure id want one.
And before you go there, even if it's discounted, it's bought NEW and immediately loses 2 1/2 or 3 years in value as you motor off the lot!
P. S. Where do people get the time to look for this type of useless information? :-)

Sounds like we have some bitter r56 owners... All these backhanded threads are getting so stupid. Why is that whenever a newer model comes out, the people with older models get salty. Happened in the VW and Mazda forums as well. Some people just can't embrace evolution I guess.

I think it's obvious that sales would be way off as the 2015 models are held up by the govt in the US. Not a big deal, IMO, but some like to make it so.

Haters gonna hate. Pot stirrers gonna stir the pot. Such is life.
I could care less if sales on the F56 are up or down. I only know that I love my '14 Mini-S. Absolute blast to drive. I love everything about my car.

Is it hate? Maybe. More likely it's looking for validation that they are smart and they bought the best model year. It's an immature attitude. Unless you have every model year to choose from its luck not smarts. It's really simple to fix the envy. Trade it in for a new one. If you believe you have the best model year revel in the fact tha nobody can buy one and enjoy it.
Agreed, one of the most fun cars I have had. Grins and chuckles every time I drive it.
Who the heck in this forum cares whether it's up or down.

I own a 14 MCS not MINI stock!
This may sound terrible....but I'm not interested in owning a "people's car". I like the fact that we F56 owners are a real minority right now. At the moment there are 2 MINIs on my street ..that is plenty.
I agree with Chazman...but if I had to choose I would prefer the stock to tank! :-)

We ordered our 2015 F56 yesterday. Delivery somewhere November-January.
This would be the 4th MINI for us.
2014 Cooper became our current 2008 Cooper which will become our 2015 Cooper.
We also have a 2009 Clubman. All of our MINIs are Coopers, no S's for us
We like 'em!
