More practically, it's too bad there isn't a waiver those of us waiting could sign saying we don't care about the outcome of the EPA testing, give us our cars now and email the results to us later. It's not like different MPG numbers will affect my buying decision.

I've been looking for that as mine had been misplaced.

I'll call Mini tomorrow and see where I turn my card in

I think they may have been selling the F56 already on some sort of waiver. I've searched the EPA site for any test data on the F56 and haven't found any. It might exist but I haven't been able to find it. You can find all sorts of documentation that they tested the R generation cars, but nothing on the F generation. So I think their free pass has just run out and tis did not manage this well.

Also it looks like the 1 Oct date might be optimistic and assumes the test results and processing will be faster than normal.

Our car now shows a delivery of 9 Oct, but of course that is just an estimate.

I think October 1st is still their hopefully date; then you have take in account the time it takes for delivery to the the dealer.

I wonder if October 1 is the anticipated release date. Does anyone have an estimated delivery date before 10/8? (on MINI owner's lounge "review order details")
