F55/F56 Rear Spoiler Upgrade on F56s?
I should of ordered one with my car. For $250 it's well worth it. To buy it after the fact for $380 plus approx $80 for a body shop to paint match it , not worth it. I may hold out now that I have my car to see if the aftermarket will have one
I look at the top of my rear window and can clearly see how dirty it gets under the standard spoiler. I would think the JCW one would allow air to travel down the back window and therefore stopping it gettting dirty. I did not want a spoiler and wished there was none. They do nothing in real terms especially on a front wheel drive car....and I hate a dirty rear window. :-)
For the vocabulary challenged:
detritus
Stuff left behind, **** that no one wants. From Latin. Often used when the speaker expects that the listener won't know what the word means. This word is commonly used to describe the pile of bones and feathers that the hawk leaves behind after he eats the pigeon.
* Is that your detritus there?
* Why is all this detritus in the back seat of my car?
Pronounced DEE-truh-tus

I am so glad I ordered mine with the spoiler upgrade. I've had a lot of comments (positive) about it from people who see my MINI S for the first time. MINI did a great job designing it IMO. A sporty car needs a sporty rear spoiler.
Do you think it helps or hinders keeping crap (I'm not that educated) off the rear window?
Look on the R56 site and you will see the comments regarding the detritus.
