The dealer I purchased from has in the low 20s. When we purchased there were a bit over 40, and that was almost a month ago now.
Where did you buy your MINI? I live in Long Beach, and equidistant to Crevier and South Bay as well. Seems like the dealers here have a pretty good supply at the moment.
I was at my dealer on the 28th. They have 2 Black and 2 Thunder. They really stocked up on convertibles had at least 20 and a boatload of Countryman's.
You guys are all lucky...Some of us early adopters has to buy site-unseen lol. My car was the first to be sold in Colorado. Pre-orders are a bit scary but in the end I am very happy.

True, but we have to wait because our cars are sitting at VDC until they can release the cars because of EPA and who knows if it will be October. Mine been sitting their since the end of July.

When I purchased mine, my dealer had almost completely sold out of the base model, (2 remaining I think) but had almost 20 MCSs... My MA said they were having a much harder time selling the MCS vs. the base.
My dealer is down to 3 MC and 5 MCS. They had about 20 cars when the EPA hold started. 8/31: Just went to dealer and they are down to 6 F56 total, 3 of each MC and MCS. Lean September.

Reason: actual number of cars on lot

When I was on Vacation and I stopped at a dealership, they also said that MC is selling better than MCS. I know I was going to buy a MCS but after driving the MC I went with the MC now just waiting on EPA testing so that I can get my car.
My car is at Port Hueneme but it was ordered with 16 inch wheels and I assume that's what it has. If you plug in the last seven digits of the VIN into the BMW vin decoder, it says that my car has an ' emergency spare wheel ', but my MA assures me that it will not have a spare. Guess we will just have to wait and see. Totally screwed up!

I'm also in SoCal.
When I was shopping for my MCS back in July, I checked several MINI dealers in the area and Monrovia MINI had the highest number of invenetory near where I am - about 20 when others had only 6-10. Actually I asked the sales guy why they have so many, and he took me to a manager's office and showed me some kind of monthly retail sales number listing of all MINI dealerships nationwide that was hung on the wall. This dealership was #1 in CA sales and if I remember correctly they were #3 in the U.S. at that time.
The numbers for F56s are getting lower very low for the Justa. Hope the dealers still have cars to sell, still got almost a month to go.
Do you think Mini knew how well the Justa was going to sell or did they know that a lot buyers would go with Justa and then these buyers would take the savings and buy more option which has a higher profit for Mini. I don't think the dealers realize this and that why there are still a lot of S on their lots I was one who was going to buy the S but after reading a lot posts, reviews and test driving, I went with the Justa. Unfortunately I am still counting the days for me to drive my car.
