Hey all. I don't know if this should be it's own thread or not, but after trying unsuccessfully to find an appropriate thread for my question, I thought it might be useful as a catch-all thread for others as well.

My question is: can anyone with an F56 in hand give me the dimensions of the secret compartment door? (overall length and height at both ends) Thanks!

 

You probably need to state your intent. Are you doing something with the outside of the door, or do you want the inside compartment dimensions? I'm between vehicles having sold my 2009 MCS, but the inside is much smaller than the the door size.

Well, instead of removing the whole front end a la GregoryK, thought I'd start with a very small mod I'm just looking at some options to add a vinyl graphic to the dash surface to tie in with the rest of the interior. I really like the graphic on the Bayswater piano black and want to do something checkerboard in similar fashion. Small accent, not covering the whole thing. Similar to the current square JCW sticker or older JCW more "flowing" checker flag. Going for subtle so just wanted to know the size of the door that I'm sticking something to.
