F55/F56 Week 27 build -- this is your status thread!
Looks like I spoke too soon.... Just checked and the status changed to "returned to shipper". Looks like a couple more days at least. Hopefully not a problem with the car....
Same thing happened to my car, and it was booked on the next one heading out, though it didn't get a new booking number until the day the boat showed up for loading.
To put your mind more at ease: Take the booking number from your tracking page, now go back to the search page and put that into the Booking Number section and clear your VIN, and search. It'll give you a list of every car that was part of that booking, and you can see how many made it on the boat and how many did not. Yours won't be alone =)
Returned to shipper almost always means the boat was full, not a problem with the car. MINI lines them all up on the dock, WW starts loading them on the boat until they run out of room, and marks the remainder as Returned to Shipper.

Thanks for that! I assumed that was the case, but good to see something more solid. Now, back to the waiting game.... (and clicking refresh)
Paint Shop and Body Shop should only be 1 day each. But keep in mind that all the tracking systems are rather slow. Yours could well be done but someone forgot to flip whatever switch updates your tracking info.
Are you getting Paint Shop from the automated call in or from an operator? Try the other, they are often different.

can't wait to get ours!
Baltimore to Pittsburgh is less than a day's drive, but I doubt we'll be the only 2 on the truck!
I think all West Coast vehicles are shipped with W&W, so I'll keep trying to track by VIN there to see when I'm booked on a ship. I think it will be the July 15 (or is 16?) ship due to arrive 8/6...
Well, I've changed from waiting for transport (to the port) to "at the port waiting for a shipping vessel".

How long did it take to change from "waiting for transport" to "at the port waiting for a shipping vessel". Mini USA has me as "waiting for transport" since July 5 and web site still has me as schedule for production. becky1711 and I were side by side until July 5, she has moved forward and I have not moved in Mini USA or the Web site?

And since west coast ships were every two weeks (or so I thought) with ships scheduled for 7/2 and 7/16, it didn't matter too much to me that it didn't get to the port sooner. But then when I saw references to additional west coast bound ships, then I started caring more

My MCS has been sitting at the port as of July 5th. I hope my Mini made it on to The Metis Leader. Where did you see the info on The Metis Leader?
jdogg - See if this link to the Wallenius Track and Trace site works for you. You'll have to enter your VIN in the Cargo ID box:
https://offices.2wglobal.com/offices...ckSearchResult
I'm hoping my MCS is on the Metis Leader but the Track and Trace hasn't been updated since the ship sailed this morning.

So have you asked your MA or dealer to look into it? Or called and asked a rep what's going on???
They all say the same thing. It's waiting for a boat and there is nothing they can do to see why it has taken so long.
It means you car is done production and you are waiting to be transported to the docks of Southampton. I have been in this position since July 5th
