For those of you who listen to podcasts in your F56, I've tried several, and Downcast seems to cooperate best. Show titles, album art, startup, etc. are all working very well. iCatcher and Apple's podcast app didn't seem to get along as well.

Now if I could only get Spotify to play nice.

 

Does spotify work with the enhanced bluetooth and usb audio?

I pretty much exclusively use spotify for music nowadays...haven't got my mini yet so can't test it out...

 

Anything should work just sending Audio over. I think Pennengr is commenting more that the display & metadata doesn't send over to the screen like some of the other Mini Connected Apps can.

 

Ahh ok, but can I control it from through the steering wheel controls or would I need to use the phone?

I guess it's not a huge deal but it would be good if it did work through the controls...

Yes, sound is working fine for Spotify, both over Bluetooth and USB. Steering wheel controls are working as well.

What happens in both cases however, is that the album art and metadata get stuck on whatever track was playing first, and never update.
