MINI has been making updates to the configurator this week for 2015. I just noticed the picture for the LED fog lights option shows the halo type lights.

 

Typical Mini... The update the photo to suggest HALO fogs, but mention nothing about it in the description. Guessing its a pretty easy replacement for 2014 cars? Wonder what they will cost...

 

Still don't see a Driver's Assist Package (?)

 

So LED fog lights are new for 2015?

 

With halo rings they are. If indeed they are halo.

 

For those like me who didnt know what they looked like...

 

There was an article back in April on motoringfile.com that all 2015 R5X models would get the halo fogs, but no mention of the F56.

Also looks like you get LED fogs if you select LED headlights, which I think previously you had to specify LED fogs either way.
