Oh, that! lol. The color is not white though. I always like to keep mine on trip computer mode, but it won't let me set it as default or even store it as a shortcut.
I think you can only store the radio stations as a shortcut button. You do this by holding on to one of the numbers for 5+ secs after being on the station you want to store. Again, I don't think this works to store certain menu item.

You can also use the buttons to store telephone numbers.

But somehow it stores more than 8, but I have not figured how to get to them via buttons. I have 13 stations stored and I can scroll through with arrows.

I have base radio with Harmon upgrade. What's the extra antenna the car came with longer thinner with wire coiled around like a 1990 cell phone?

You can store up to 40 radio presets, but you can only assign 8 to the buttons.

The "extra" antenna is probably the stock antenna your dealer took off and replaced with the shorter, sport antenna. The stock antenna picks up reception better (especially AM), but if don't notice a difference, the sport antenna looks much better
