Do the ladies like the F56 as well as the R56?

I live in Philly, and notice a lot of women driving around town in MINI's; Justas, S's, Convertibles, etc. The F56 isn't as cute as the R56. Has MINI risked losing it's female following with the controversial F56 styling? VW did a better job masculinizing the Beetle and not alienating the ladies. I don't know if MINI set out to deliberately make the F56 less cute, but it comes across that way. What do you think?

I agree that the F56 isn't as cute but I feel it is still a little cute and quite stylish. I've currently got mine on order and can't wait to motor around this summer with the windows/sunroof open while my 3 year old and I rock out. :D
My husband is already trying to convince me he needs to drive it and we haven't even taken delivery yet.

Interesting, the F56 strikes me as rounder, softer, cuter than the R56, which I find a bit more agressive looking (and I'm a guy that drives an R56s). So far I've only spotted the F56 with female conductors.

I think the F56 is ever so slightly less cute - but don't let cute be taken to mean it shall be preferred by all women. I'm not one of those "paint mine pink and put eyelashes on" lady drivers. I'm ok with less cute - I was flirting with the idea of a new WRX after my GTI. Nothing cute about the new WRX. I can't wait to tune my gender neutral ride

While I am the type of girl who would be willing to paint it pink or even purple, you would never catch me putting a pair of eyelashes on it. Yuck.

I completely agree with the fact that I would never in a million years put eyelashes on my car. Still cannot believe people do that...

In regards to styling of the car, I go for cars that are not "cute". I like the idea that people think my car is slow because it is so small. A lot of people have called it cute to me though. Which I find interesting. (I feel like I am rambling?)

ANYWAY, from my female point of view I think the new F56 is a sexy car and that is why I bought it. Looks more agressive to me than the older gens. That is just my 2 cents.

The F56 is definitely "cuter" than my A3 which is why I ordered mine in Thunder Gray w/black wheels and roof. I feel it looks less cute in the dark color combos

I've had many more women ask about my car than men. Seems at least within my environment something about the car catches their interest. A number have even known it was the new Hardtop. Seems to be positively received in my experience.
