I have purchased a Pepper White Mini and planning to have the roof painted British Racing green and custom green stripes just like the Green Park edition. I will be having the side stripes fitted along the bottom edge. This is happening tomorrow and now I'm having a panic attack. Am I an idiot?

Thank you. I'm only doing this because I missed out on building my own F56. My 2010 R56 died suddenly two weeks ago and so I needed to get a car quickly hence we have bought off the floor. I wanted to do this so it would feel like my car. Also, the interior is Dark Truffle so I'm hoping it will tie in nicely. Delivery is Friday. I hope it's not an eyesore.

 

I know what you mean. I also bought mine off the floor and it's iced chocolate with white roof, bonnet strip, mirror caps and black vinyl interior. It wouldn't be my choice but I'm happy with it. If and when I ever buy another I will order it. Good luck with your new car. It will look great.

I like it, but if your not sure you can get it wrapped in vinyl, then if you don't like it just take it off.

Of course you can. There is no question. It is not as good as paint but if you hate it....

 

Every color goes well with Pepper White. Looks good.

I have thought about a vinyl wrap roof but I wanted a long lasting quality finish. Also, I'm having the mirrors and the square thingies in the bottom of the front bumper and the other thingy that sits above the rego plate on the back of the car painted too. What is worrying me is the green Park edition has a flat green roof and the body shop will be using metallic. I hope the metallic green will work. I will post a before photo shortly.

Can't see the green roof. The thing I love about my coupe is the roof is red, not black, white, or body color. And the stripes on the body are grey, and the stripes on the top are red (you can't see it in my sig). . Nice idea.
