Firework Dash?

Don't know why I didn't notice this before in the configurator, but I wonder what that means/looks like!

Its a darkish kind of grey with little red and blue "specks" through out it. Not my personal favorite but it could work with some of the other dash options.

Mmm, sounds kind of funky. So far, I think the MINI yours cottonwood dash is my favourite.

Anyone who has Firework dash in their car, can you post some pictures?

Thanks.

That helps, but I'd still love to see a picture of someone's actual car, i.e. how it interacts with the rest of the dash

Was going with "Off-white" until I saw this close-up and how lame it looks. Going for the "dark cottonwood" with "Glowing Red" now. Those two "seem" a good combination. Anyone seen that combo in real life?

Just do a search on cars.com specifying the 2014 hardtop, unlimited radius, and the keyword "firework." I didn't see anything that looked incredibly bright.

Note that I couldn't figure out a way to do the keyword search on the cars.com app. Lots of mini pics on the site though.

Since my post, I did a search on NAM and found one person with "firework". Sent an email asking for them to take and send or post some pictures. We'll see what happens.

From a distance, it looks very subtle. It's not bad.

It's the firework dash. Hazy grey isn't available on an S as it is standard on the Cooper. Also, the door bezels would be 'naked' with no molding. You have to add a dash option to get the plastic molding on the doors - just like the R56.

Ok, I now agree. It's actually the next to the last picture with the little bit of dash to the right of the speedometer that I can see it the most clearly -- and it matches the JPG that was posted earlier or all the options.

I now feel comfortable with this as my selection to go with the Truffle color line option.

Thanks.

I ordered the fireworks dash on my car with the standard black color line offered for the coopers. I also got the diamond cloth leather seats. I'm a little nervous about how it will all look together but a friend with a good design eye is the one who suggested the dash to me. I took a chance.

I won't be able to post any photos until mid-June, at the earliest.

I ordered firework. They had one at Alexander Mini and it looked cool. It's pretty subtle. Probably most of the time it looks just black, with a little bit of crosshatch texture, until it's in the sun, and then you get a bit of red and blue sparkle. I felt it would hide dust and fingerprints better than piano black. And I didn't care for the highly-textured checkered surface. Cotton wood sounds like it must look beautiful, though it seems out of character for a mini.

I think it looks great. Happy with my choice. Really should've gotten Glowing Red dash cushy parts to go with it though. Someone that was looking at my car thought it was carbon fiber- dunno whether that's good or bad. But he wasn't looking very closely.

Recently I was asked for a photo of the dash at night. Nothing is turned on because I left my key inside the house.
The flash did go off and it is a phone camera. I decided to keep this photo because I felt it showed it off quite well.

I am glad I stuck with this dash choice.

Kind of a little blue and brownish,

The Cottonwood dash is very nice.
