That's not the dash, it's the secret compartment lid. When the R56 came out "carbon fiber bits" were all the rage for awhile. It sort of reminds me of that.

 

 

According to the written description it is supposed to be black/gray with flecks of red and orange. I'm thinking that this will work well with my volcanic orange with satellite gray interior. Fingers crossed.

 

I have it ordered with my EB with punch carbon leather seats. Will be picking it up this week. I only ordered it because it seemed like it would be different from what everyone else is ordering.

So I drove over to the dealer. It is definitely gray with orange and BLUE flecks, not orange and red. Regardless I still think I will order it. I may do a cover or wrap of those bits at some point but like the slightly different look to start with.

 

The configurator looked to me like it had hints of the BMW ///M colors in it. Does it look like that in person that these pics just does not show?

 

The configurator and the pictures just don't do it justice. The orange is very subtle and can be seen in sunlight. Have to see the trim in person if you want a real feel for what it will look like.
