Hi guys

So I ordered the driving lights and was told that the brackets have not yet arrived for the F56 and that I would have to wait for a bit. Did anyone have their F56 with driving lights installed yet?

Also, I opted out of the regular stripes out of the factory as I wanted the sport stripes installed instead. Now I am told that the sport stripes have not been released yet for F56 and my SA doesn't even know when it will be released. I'm really surprised at this.

I have the car now (after being stuck in the VPC for two weeks) but without the driving lights and the sport stripes... sigh. Let me know if you guys have any insights on this also. Thanks!

I really wanted the driving lights, but my dealership said it was an additional $1K for labor, so I had to pass.

 

I've only seen the regular bonnet stripes on the F56 so far. When you say driving lights, are you referring to the lamps mounted on the grill? If so, those are definitely around, perhaps your dealer just doesn't have them yet?

Mine has them, installed at the factory though. Here she is!

 

$1K just for the labor is too steep, I would shop around as I got it down to about $870 for parts and labor.

Hate to ask a dumb question, but what is the diff between sport stripes and the regular stripes? None of my MINIs have stripes. Thanks!

 

Bonnet stripe (what I called regular) is like the one that Brandon has above. Sport stripes goes through the middle is the bonnet and also in the back of the car.

I ordered my car back in Feb and it did not let me add driving lights and sport stripes out of the factory. :-(

 

Regular stripes run one, ( 4" stripe approx.) on each side of the hood.
Sport Stripes run down the middle. I have seen them on the hood, roof and
rear deck lid/hatch. Often on a JCW.

Aren't the center run stripes sometimes called 'viper' stripes?
They run full down the front bumper kinda like snake fangs!
