So, I'll just put one picture here. I've got another thread, but I suspect people will be looking at this thread long after the other thread is way back in time with no new posts.

There's a few squeegee marks / air pockets that need to bake out in the next couple of days in the sun (the perf on the sunroof traps air whereas the solid vinyl and the painted surfaces will release all of it's air via the air channel technology in the state of the art cast vinyl products. After it's all nice and flat, the whole car will get hit with a CQuartz UK treatment -- and then I'll take a bunch more pictures of the car for posting.

Cooper bumper on an S! It can be done!

I'd be curious to know the specs on those wheels. That's way too aggressive for me but just for knowledge's sake.

Roof graphics question

I like the graphics aafflyer put on. I'm kicking around the idea of adding roof graphics to the Jayhawk 1.
Any recommendations on who should do this? Is a vinyl sign company the best choice?
Is this design too much?

For me it would be too much. But then again I'm a big fan of clean, simple lines and not a fan of sports at all, so I'm the last person you should be asking, lol. I've done a solid color roof and checkers, that's as far as I've gone.

That being said, yeah try a vinyl sign company. It's a good place to start at least. They might know a company that would specialize in auto applications.

Looks great! Are you going to add the side panels you were considering, too?

Well, I lost my job on Friday, so I have to put this on hold for now. However, there are a few part-time positions at the local BMW/Mini dealership, so maybe I can get one, work my way up to full-time and maybe get an employer discount when the F56 JCW comes out.

I guess I have to get things done before I can do anything else.

Actually, the JCW interior includes a red-stitched wheel and gearshift ****, JCW door sill, and black headliner. The rest of the color scheme is up to you. I have a JCW interior, but mine's entirely different. Sorry for the bad picture--this was taken inside the dealership, under artificial lighting, but you get the idea.

I'll bet you can't wait! I've had mine for 2 weeks, and it's a much better car than my '07. And I loved the '07!
