I'm more than happy to snap more pictures if anyone wants, It gives me a reason to go out and look at him!

Becky,

Thanks for the kind words. My sons are 25 (in the photo) and 29 (was away at college when we took delivery in 2004)

I thanked my son for humoring me by posing for the comparison photo.

Aside from the dealer's advertisement up front, she's a beauty!

Looks good. I really like that grey with the black accents. And yeah, that plate frame is always the first thing to go with my new cars.

Yay Iced Chocolate!

Someday we'll get our own club here on NAM, I think you're dead on with the 3 number right now though. You, me, and whaap (who has an R56 IC!)

Looks nice with the white!

Few pics after doing some mods over the 4th.
- mini logo puddle lights installed
- dipped front headlight surrounds matte black
- f56 platypus
- gold jack side scuttles
- Cravenspeed phone mount
- chemicalguys clay bar, jet sealant, and wax
Other parts include the JCW interior pack aside from the door sills which are the illuminated ones that don't come with the package.

Sweet!

I have a Thunder Grey and had considered blacking out the headlight surrounds, but I think they look best done with a lighter body color.

Interesting mods. What's the iPAD holder called and how does it connect? Is it a secure mount (to the back of the Speedo?)?

I don't do vent mounts, and I think my iOttie won't have enough space beneath the USB & CLA ports, where I'd ideally mount it.

Thanks.

Finally got the windows tinted today. Went with 35% front and rear. I love the way it looks, especially with the all-black interior/headliner.

Marco did a really good writeup on the phone mount located here. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...nt-w-pics.html
Basically, it takes 10 min for a monkey to install it

Oh man, that looks real sweet! I really like the look of those JCW sills. Also, that first pic's depth of field is awesome, makes it look like a toy!

Not sure where the charger extension figures into all this. Didn't see it in the otherwise great description by Marco. Seems to me a long lightning cable is all you'd need. Where does the 12V extension go?

My 12v outlet that came with went In the bin to be honest. I just use my charger cable to the center console.

Good idea. It'll make those fracking toasters more conspicuous. :-P

I haven't set up the 12v extension but it should attach just behind the stock socket and then it should be a clear path to behind the tachometer... From there it should follow the mount path to the device/phone.

Just too lazy to pull that console open but might as well dive in.
