I secured the shift boot just under the collar on the adjustable short shifter, I thought it gave it a pretty clean / mean look. It doesn't move.
Sorry for all the Q&A, but this is something I would be highly interested in doing as well. You mentioned the short shifter, where can you get that for the F56, and how difficult an installation would that be?

Thank you again!

LOVE a Q and A.

Our adjustable short shifter is available here.

Installation is VERY easy when compared to the R56, we've got instructions up, and I'm always here to help. I can do the installation in under 30 minutes, someone handy shouldn't have much trouble with the same timeline.

Shipping to the UK is never the cheapest (As I'm sure you know).

It would be $298 USD + shipping. Since they're not light, you're probably looking at $50+

EDIT- I don't want to derail the picture thread, so please PM with questions.

Blue cars really aren't my thing, but this color is really growing on me.

Finally get to add mine to the bunch! Pretty loaded up, have everything but the Alarm and got DDC instead of Sport Suspension. Black pearl seats. Love Love Love! Got the windows tinted 50% front (darkest allowed in Utah) and 20% rear. Clear bra and viper stripes.

Your car looks great in those pictures! Congrats. But it is tough -- I originally ordered Deep Blue and switched to BRG. But I have to admit, I'm torn and go back and forth. But the car's in production, so it's too late to make any changes. Thankfully. This is tough!

The view from your driveway is breathtaking! Wish I could see mountains like that every day. Oh, and the car is looking excellent as well.

Please pardon the cell pics, but I'm just excited to finally be able to post my own photos here. Just rolled off the truck:

Looks great! Mine will look almost the same as yours except for the viper stripes and spoiler. The viper stripes look really good, I might have to get this done on my MCS!

Awesome! This is my paint combo. It looks great. I just wish mine would get here.

I went with the chrome flash package and stock silver rims. Probably upgrade those the first time I buy tires. My bonnet stripes will have red accent stripes on each side and red pin stripping down the side.

Really excited! Happy motoring!

Very Nice. What percentage tint did you get? Hoping to be another 2014 Maryland Mini owner soon. Where did you get your tint done?

I bought the 3M Crystalline 50. I could have gone 40, but they were saying it would have actually taken the percent down to 28% and that was a little darker than I wanted. It's a little pricy but I only intend on getting it done once, so I thought the extra $100 was probably well spent. I had it done in Frederick at Auto Trim Design of Mid-Maryland I negotiated a lower price than their advertised price. There is only one other 3M certified shop in Maryland and I have heard nightmare stories about them. I was VERY pleased with the job they did as well as their front counter staff and installers. I'd recommend them. It was worth the 40 minute drive for me. (I sound like a commercial - )
