Thanks for all the great pics of the owners manual and the gauge cluster.

Anyone have any idea what the little sensor is directly left of the "zero" on the speedometer is? I never noticed it when sitting in a F56 but it is quite visible in the photos.

 

Directly right is the reflection of the lens of a white-body smartphone in a black case.

 

Could you check the paint code on your VIN sticker for me?

I'm getting some parts painted for my F56 (but it it hasn't arrived yet!) & I just need the paint code confirmed?

It should say B58 in the bottom right of the sticker & possibly some other numbers or letters?

 

The code says B58/7. Also, beneath those numbers, in smaller font, it has the numbers 7315814. I don't know if those are relevant, but they are there. I hope that helps!

 

Can you confirm the "0mph" here is a digital speedometer? It has to be, right? What else could it be? This display is how I would run the car most of the time, unless I was concerned with engine temperature.

It isn't mentioned in those pages of the owner's manual!

 

Yes, that's the digital speedometer. It also displays on HUD if you got that option.
