Seems like it would be a very simple add on the production line.

The only thing that irks me is the standard auto a/c. I can't fathom why they didn't include that for the 2014 as well. It's a very nice looking upgrade but it won't make a huge difference.

When it's -30’C or +30’C outside, I don't want to get to 72. I want to burn or chill.

I'm sort of ticked about this too as if I get another MINI, I need to get one by the end of July. Not sure when the 2015 model year even begins since the 2014 just started, so confusing! Anyway, with Auto A/C at $500 and fogs at $250 (both of which I was adding) unless they increase the MSRP it will be a good deal. Sigh.

The article is talking about the R5x models.

NOTHING is mentioned about the F56 model in the article you have linked.

So, what exactly is the issue here?

If you're talking about the dual climate control, the comment from the owner of the website says all US MINIs get it for 2015.
I don't think we know when the '15s will be coming yet. Irritates me to have upgrades so soon, but for a small car like the MINI to have dual controls seems unimportant.

The article is referring to the R5x models. It doesn't mention the F56 anywhere…

Its talking about changes for the 2015 model R5x models. Not the F56.

It mentions it in the comments below the article via the site owner, but not really clear if he means standard or still an option...
