Best Color for New Car Order

Ordering my new Cooper S. Have a 2010 blue S now.

2 colors I'm considering are the British Racing Green or the Thunder Grey Metallic.

Any thoughts on Color

I think the Mini is the only car I would ever buy in green. BRGII looks amazing on it and if I end up buying one of these that's the color I'm going with. BRGII on Satellite Gray Lounge Leather. Classy

I just bought my first MINI last month. The only color the dealership had that I liked was Iced Chocolate which I chose. If a time ever comes when I can order my favorite it will be BRG.

Brg

I love my BRG. Looks great when it's clean, and I love washing my car. The grey's probably a little easier to keep clean, but not as satisfying to wash.

Yes. Think the green will be like the blue....amazing when clean. My wife loves the idea of green is that the new Mini looks good in grey....too

Both are great choices...can't go wrong with either one. If I were to choose, I would probably go with Thunder Grey

It will be YOUR CAR....
Get what you like......simple...no need to debate..get the one that speaks to you....
Be confident in you choice....pick a hue and make it yours!!
Mini's are about personality and self expression.....getting others to pick your color kinds defects the purpose imo.

Thanks. But that is the point. This is my third. Both pepper white and my current blue mini spoke to me. Can't have the same color...None of these jump off the page and you can't see the real thing...except in photos.
Safe bet is to wait till 2015...

I wonder why they dropped highclass grey for the F56. I ordered my '14 R57 with this one. It has a chameleon personality of grey with hints of purple, blue, and black depending on the light.

I agree that the color is something you want to be comfortable with for the long haul.

Of the F56 colors, the BRG looks the best to me but I have only seen pictures.

I wasn't sure whether to get the British Racing Green Metallic or the Iced Chocolate. I ended up ordering it with the BRG. I added a black roof/mirrors and 17" Black Cosmos wheels. My first MINI!

The grey needs blacked out headlights, and red stripes. The JCW Coupe is awesome in either grey or silver with red stripes and top.

Well this time around we, (Wife & I) decided on, "Blazing Red Metallic".

As you see our 2011 MCS is BRG so we want something different this go around.

The "Blazing Red Metallic" we just think will have that WOW factor with the Black Roof, Stripes and the Outside Chrome Package.

Man this is going to be so freaking cool.

Terry, you sound as excited as I feel. I SO can't wait for my BRG 'S' to arrive. It's going to be a FUN summer! For both of us. I think my wife is going to love it, too.

Bob ...

I can tell you Cathy & I both are very much looking forward to actually seeing and taking delivery of the incoming 2014 MCS.

I think you guys will really like your's in the BRG.
It is an outstanding color on a Mini or MCS.

Here are a few Pics of our 2011 MCS in BRG.

My husbands Countryman is that color green and while it is pretty in just the right light I find it too dark. His car came with a black roof and mirrors and frankly a lot of the time you can't tell the difference.

LynneV ...

It is a dark green for sure and if one went with the Black Roof, Mirrors etc. what you say is so true.

Is that Blazing Red a metallic paint? I was hoping for Chili Red to be available but its not for the Justa and S.

If we did not already have the BRG 2011 MCS we would have went with BRG.

But we do have it so went with a different color.
(Blazin Red Metallic)

What a great looking '11 MINI S, Terry. I almost went with the white top/mirrors but decided to get black instead (with black wheels). Nice to see someone "older" (LOL) driving a MINI. My wife and I are both 65 and our daughter is kind of surprised at my car choice. In part because the car I just turned in (a leased '11 Buick LaCrosse) is so much bigger, and my car before that was a modified '03 Mustang Cobra that made 505rwhp. 11.3@123 in the 1/4 mile. So yeah, this is a pretty big (oops, I mean MINI) change.

Hi Bob ...

I don't think the Members here will Kill me for 1-Post being off the Mini Topic.

My actual car is a 2008 Bullitt Mustang highly modified.
It is right now at Brenspeed Engineering & Performance in Pierceton, IN.
I am having Major changes to it for 2014.
I'll post a few Pics. below and hopefully a video of it making a pass on the drag strip.
The video is at the NMRA World Finals in Bowling Green, KY.

I used to have a '69 Mustang (with the 4 barrel carb). Used to wheel spin on when it changed into second - the only automatic car I ever owned.
I'm sure the Mini would leave it for dead on a mountain road.
It must be fun to drive something that quick. How's the handling?
Also - Love the dark green metallic color Terry!
