2017 F56 auto idle increases when i take foot off the brake
Hey;
I have a (new to me) automatic 2017 3 dr S model and I have noticed that when I come to a stop at a light or stop sign in "mid" driving mode, after a second the rpms drop to around 650-750. When I take my foot off the brake, before I even touch the gas pedal, the RPMs immediately jump up to just under 1000. Is this normal?
I have noticed that when I put the shifter into "sport" shift mode (not the ring sport-mid-green selector, which stays in "mid" mode), the RPMs stay at the higher level when stopped and do not exhibit this "jump" when I take my foot off the brake.
TIA for any replies.
