The inside rear view mirror is loose on my wife's R series. On a warm day like today it's useless as it won't hold into position. The attached pictures show a loose ring hanging on the pivot point. It appears to go into that round cutout in the back of the mirror but I can't push it in. Does the mirror just pull off of the ball/pivot? My guess is that it does, after which the ring gets pushed int the cutout and then it all snaps back together and ends up being much tighter. I'm much more versed in problems with R50's so I'm wondering if anybody else has had this problem or if it is just us.
