Has anyone disassembled or have pictures of a rear view mirror disassembled? I need to see what the inside of the mirror looks like if and if it's possible to take it apart without destroying it.

 

Old questions die hard. I snagged the edge of my windscreen shade on the garage door buttons under the mirror and pulled the button cover out of place. Now the buttons are internally misaligned.

I too would love to see an exploded diagram of the bloody thing.
