Getting rid of dealer service code
Is there anyway to get rid of the service with out going to a dealship? I mean I had all the service done but I dot to have to drive another seventy five mile to clear it at the closest dealership. Oh and it goes away after a few seconds.
Follow the simple steps below, and you should have your oil service light reset process complete in under three minutes.
- First, turn the key just before starting the engine. You should see your oil service maintenance light is on.
- Next, press and hold the reset button until you see the menu come up.
- Once the menu is up, go ahead and press and hold the reset button again.
- Hold it. Let go of the button, and press it again.
- It’s now going to reset the oil indicator.
- Press and hold the button.
- When it asks if you want to reset the service, choose yes.
- Wait a few moments as the reset is in progress.
- You will see reset success once completed.
- You’re all set!
