Does anybody have or can someone point me to a listing of the F56 codes and their meanings, when you get a check engine light (CEL)? I was putsing in the engine compartment and did something to trigger a code. My ScangaugeII will read the codes but doesn't elborate on what it is and won't clear them for some reason. The car is running as fine as ever but it would be nice to know what I did so I don't do it again.

Thanks for the link. Helpful, but none of these seem to match what I got from the Scangauge. Mine were all:

PXXXX Where XXXX was any alphanumeric (eg P0100 or P12A4, etc)
These are like the list from the site above , but still nothing that was an exact match for the Mini.

 

What was the fault exactly? I can look it up.

 

It was a P0100 which is a MAP Sensor error. The folks at ScanGauge got me the info.
