Advice needed
Ok so I bought a 2017 mini clubman about 4 months ago, when I took it for a test drive it felt very good but I noticed the steering wheel wasn’t square when driving in a straight line and was slightly off to the right, the garage said they could fix that no problem, it’s now straight but It doesn’t feel very firm while driving and feels as if there’s slight play in the steering now, do anyone know what could cause this?
My guess is they just adjusted the tie rods to get the wheel straight.
You probably want to get a precision alignment performed. Make sure camber, caster and toe are in spec, and are the same on both sides. Even if both sides are within spec, if they aren't the same values on each side, handling and feel can still be wonky.

It is, as long as the alignment is starting out good. If the steering wheel is off, you turn one tie rod this way half turn, and the other tie rod that way half turn. Done.

Go to Mini dealership and let them take care of that
