I have seen somewhere pictures of the black plastic wheel opening surround as body colored, but it also appeared to be “fuller” in appearance, so it wasn’t just that the plastic was covered with paint. I got my clubman in black so as to minimize the contrast with the black plastic, but I still think it looks off-putting. I don’t believe that there is a option have that changed to body color when ordering the car like I had on my 2004 Audi allroad...it too had dark grey plastic on the fenders, but their deal was to make the vehicle appear “off road tough”....I don’t think MINIs need that look. Has anyone been able to track down fender overlays or something to that effect to cover the plastic? What other options are there? Thank you in advance!
