F54 Clubman springs or coilovers?
#2
Not sure about the JCW, but I have the Clubman S. I have the adaptive sport dampers, and I wanted to keep their functionality - so I went with lowering springs from AST. They are a bit more firm than the stock ride, but they have loosened up over the last couple months. Still definitely firmer/sportier - but lower with much less fender gap. And with the adaptive dampers, they can become firmer on the fly.
Coilovers would definitely be better because usually you can adjust the height to be as high/low as you want, where as springs are a fixed drop. Also with coils you would most likely be able to make the ride as soft as the stock ride. Check out some reviews before you buy.
