Adding alarm to 2017 Clubman

Wife is looking into a 2017 Clubman. The only thing it's missing is the alarm and she's jonesin' for it.
Is it a possible add? The MINI accessory catalog says the last year it's available is 2014.
Any info appreciated.

Factory alarm is integrated into the MINI I believe

Aftermarket (non-MINI) is probably your answer

Meaning it's either from the factory or not an option for add-on? Bummer.
Added the OEM to my '04 and it was all plug-n-play.

It is my understanding that it depends on what other features the car has.

I've got to believe dealers have a way to boot up the alarm (or some sort of aftermarket alarm that is compatible) as there must be many buyers who want the alarm feature added.

Sorry that the shopminiusa was a blind alley. I thought for sure they would have updated their offerings to include something for the F series Clubman.

Please let us know what the dealer says. The Alarm was a $500 option with a factory order, so that should give you a price range.

She pulled the trigger!
Now, can we add an alarm?
RealOEM says PN 65759383320

ECS Tuning - is that NLA as I see on your site?

I'll let ECS Tuning confirm, but I do believe you can retrofit it. I'm guessing the hardware (i.e., the siren, and locking/unlocking sounds) will work out-of-the-box. However, I believe you have to code the VO to add the alarm option code to get the alarm to fully function. Did this on my BMW, but this was back in 2011 or so.

Funny that my google to this answer came up with my post here from 8 months ago.
Apparently since then they've made the alarm unit available post factory. Yeah! Happy wife, happy life.
Now to figure the best way to get it coded. Thanks for the correction, ESC - glad it's not NLA!

Yeo, its holds the tilts sensor, I have not seen a MINI with that already installed, same with the install hardware, just make sure its prewired up there, you should have a little plug hanging out or it might be wrapped in the main harness up there just like the older MINI models.

My R53 had the complete retrofit instructions.
Do you know if there are pictures of the connector location somewhere? Per realoem it looks like the alarm lives in the boot instead of under the bonnet like the R53. TIA

So based on what newtis shows, the ultrasonic interior sensor is already integrated into the overhead control module and monitors the latches and hood for possible breaking and entering into the car. Therefore all that'd be needed is the tilt sensor/alarm and install it in the rear trunk area, then program?

I may end up being the guinea pig on this one. TIS does seem to indicate that Agbullet25 is right.

Let us know, Thats all the info I have, my guess is that its those parts and a flash. Based off the older MINIs and what MINI is doing on the wiring harness side on future generations I bet its parts and a flash update to the ECM.
