I bought rims that had both red and chrome inserts. Thought the red would go good with my CR paint but turned out both were too much bling for me. I left them off.

BBS CH-R are one of my favorite rims (although I have never owned any). I think those would look nice on your car. Of course with the black rims you will want to start replacing your chrome trim with black . Not sure of the correct size or offsets. Post some pics if you go with them.

I'm going to first have the chrome light trim painted same color as car, the rear light trim is inside the light so probably will have to buy a gloss cover if they sell , I was thinking of the doing the same for the handles. The chrome trim around the grill will get painted gloss black. I'm not sure about the chrome trim that encircles below the windows, if it can be painted gloss black or not.

Look at options on gloss vinyl to apply over the trim strip around the windows, likely to hold up better than paint and easier to repair if damaged. One guy on here somewhere used a translucent red paint to paint his rear lights, which 'hides' the chrome ring, yet still lets light through, look real good, IMHO. His car was black with Chartreuse accents for reference.

As for the rims, I love the look and think the red accent would look great with the rest of your changes. I have TSW Nurburgring rims on my Mustang, so I am kind of partial to the style I guess

Hi there,

I had these on my BMW E90 M3 in 20 inch which was my car just before the Cooper S that I just picked up to try out. I absolutely loved them on the car. A suggestion for you is to get the black ones and have someone vinyl the strip. That way if you do not like how it looks, you can remove it easier as I think those editions that you posted are quite pricy. I did the red on my BBS' and then took it off. Here is a pic:
