Very nice!

Can't believe it's as hot now in Southern Oregon as it is in central Texas.

Picked up my 2018 JCW yesterday after three grueling months (I "ordered" a 2017 in mid May, and everything was delayed several weeks due to the model year change over.) All the hiccups during the process became moot when I finally got to see it in person on Tuesday. Even after only putting 45 miles on it, all of the issues have become a distant memory. Excited for the tens of thousands of miles to come!

I was afraid it was going to clash with the white silver exterior (it looks absolutely stunning with black or blue paint job), but the black trim makes for a good buffer between inside and out. I'm always a huge fan of the two-tone interior, and that's what pushed me to the satellite grey. The gamble paid off big

It looks great, IMHO. We have found that the glove box shows slight scratches esaily -- a purse rubbing against it or whatever can leave fine line marks. For some reason the light color makes flaws stand out in the plastic a bit more than black.

Now all I need is wood trim and the great gauge design a fellow Clubber (ih8cornnuts) created:

haha! I've been looking at wood options for the past 24 hours and I swore I wouldn't introduce another "texture" to the interior!

That Sat. interior looks great, I almost went them same path with my Thunder Gray F54 JCW but did Black Pearl instead.

Looks fast just parked! Nice.
And, of course, you are too modest to show us your custom gauge cluster and wood trim But we know......

I designed and built a gauge cluster with a wood dash, and a retro switch panel using toggles and old school analog gauges -- but not for my Clubman... yet.

How does the tint look around the dot matrices in the glass on the club doors?

Thanks! I've been around NAM a while. I used to be a lot more active here than I am now. Gemma is my second MINI. I traded in my 08 Justacooper on her and I have not been disappointed. In fact, I liked her so much that we bought a second clubman for my hubby about three weeks ago. I'll post pics of Sylvia later.

It seems like I need to turn back on my email notifications when I get replies to a thread so that next time, it doesn't take me a year to respond.

Traded in!

So my lease was ending soon on my F55 and I just had a kid whose car seat was making things tight for my passenger (mom) so I decided to peruse my local MINI dealer to see about ordering a JCW F54, but lo and behold, I saw this guy at a VERY good discount I couldn't pass up. I had them take care of my remaining payments and drove off with my new S ALL4 Clubman. I had to make some concessions (I will miss my HUD, DDC, and leather seats...), but it made more financial sense. JCW next time

Coding done, but still lots I want to do with it, including stripes (on order), blacking out the head light/tail light rings, tint, de-chrome, and possibly either a roll bar or Dinan Elite tuner though my NM Eng tuning module is much happier with the AWD on my new MINI.

Congrats, I really like the red with black roof. It will look awesome with stripes.
