In Australia we can get those wheels in silver as well as black. I had a JCW on order. Two of us were complaining on the clubMINI FB page about them only coming in black on the JCW, and the Australian brand manager read it, talked with my salesman (who's also in clubMINI), and in 3 days silver was an option, approved by Germany, on the Australian configurator and on my order. Hi all, I have just upgraded (well a few months ago) from an F55 Cooper SD to my new F54 Cooper S Classic and I am loving it. I really was sick of the hatch door on the rear of the 5 door and in the pics below you will see why.
Excuse the poor pics and the grey weather - just Northern Ireland for you.
I did have an R55 Clubman as my first MINI many years ago and always missed the barn doors.
Finally got some pics of the new wheels. 18inch jcw wheels refinished in melting silver. 15mm ecs spacers front and rear wrapped in firestone indys. The car has such a better looking stance, less of a clubman and more of a jcw hardtop. No drop planned as this is a daddy duty car. I’ve always been an oem+ kinda guy and this checks all the boxes.
2020 JCW purchased back at the end of April. De-badged "CLUBMAN" then added the black MINI door handles, black ALL4 badging, Red "MINI" center caps, and 10mm wheel spacers from ECS. Also ditched the run-flats for Continental DWS 06 tires.

Nice Clubbie. I have the red blade on front grill of my JCW that I want to paint black and others want to make theirs red. We need to setup an exchange program for like-minded owners 😄
Decided to begin the dechroming of my F54. I'm going to do something a little different than the usual black vinyl though. I'm going to be using a matte metallic copper on the belt line as well as some other bits. I'll post up some pictures of when I'm done. Hopefully I'll be able to get to some of it tomorrow.

Fantastic, I like where you are going with this and can't wait to see the results. I have been contemplating playing around with some various vinyls on my F54, may just need to step it up a bit now.
Well, I wasn't able to get to the belt line today, but I did get the "S" and "4" emblems finished as well as getting the radiator brace painted. The copper is a nice alternative to blacking out the chrome.
Wow, that saddle brown interior with the new shade of BRG is super nice. The color shows dirt but it has a lot of depth when it’s sparkly and clean.
Since I park under the giving tree (gives me a headache), mine gets cleaned a lot. Not bad for a 2017 daily kid hauler that lives outside and has to battle Canadian winters.
