Well, I wasn't able to get to the belt line today, but I did get the "S" and "4" emblems finished as well as getting the radiator brace painted. The copper is a nice alternative to blacking out the chrome.
Looking good, I agree with the copper accent color as a great alternative.
We have the same color Clubby, how did you get the rear of the tail lights to color matched?
I had them painted to match, not painted 'stick-on trim' as I didn't want to go that route and avoid stickers, I also had the door handles and headlight trim painted to match.

wow, painted the taillights? That’s artistry. How’s the paint holding up on the chrome? My shop whining about it.

All of the painted surfaces (door handles x 6, head lights, tail lights) have help up perfectly for 3 years now with no issues at all. It is a more expensive option versus vinyl or stickers but worth it for me.

I can’t wait to call out my shop for being lazy! I agree, nothing beats paint on the surface directly. The door handles are a high traffic touch point and the light rings are subject to rock chips so I think my guy pussed out a bit. The rear tail lights, that’s a labor of love. Mine are painted sitting at the shop (cause I’m lazy). Let’s see how they look installed, will report back.

You could put clear vinyl to protect the front light rings but I did not do this...gotta wait 2 weeks for paint to cure first though.

a little of a dirty day but I got them installed. Removed the chrome rings to apply them over. The chrome strip went green as well. I can’t wait to do the back lights, just waiting on the replacement units since there are bugs trapped in the housing. I find the rear lights on the clubman look very Buick Regal with all that chrome.

That looks awesome, very clean and totally worth the effort.
just a small photo update on the current look before going into the winter set.
Are those 18's because they look perfect. I didn't want the ultra low profile of 19's but I am leaning towards selling my Work Wheels to go with a different look. Also, the Thule box looks sharp, I have a Thule Flow at present but I need to refinish it as it has some scratches.

Yes sir. They are 18x8.5 with 235 tires. Your wheel setup looks good man👍 personally I like the roof box that you got. I find mine a bit too bulky. But I need the space for baby stroller, haha. I don't really like the 19" rubber band tires myself either. If I had to swap out my setup again, I'd go with a 245 for a meaty look🤔

If I didn’t get my Schnitzers for such a good price is have gone with 18’s for sure. My winters are 18”, which seem to show the wheel gap more even if they are the same diameter. The ride on 19’s is surprising good without runflats and when not on the firmest DDC setting and our roads are terrible. I’ll find out how it is on springs next year. The Schnitzer pedals were my last mod this year.

Bye bye clubbie...I hit a piece of concrete which ruptured the oil pan and by the time I pulled over the engine was toast. Guess I am shopping for a new ride next week...

That's a tragedy, sorry to hear it.
I used to own a VW TDI and it had a similar weakness (plastic shroud over the undercarriage, plus an extremely thin oil pan). A common mod was to replace the plastic shroud under the engine area with an aluminum plate (called a 'panzer plate' for proper German name-age). I do wonder if the Rennline skid plate for the F56, would mount up to the F54? https://www.rennline.com/Rennline-Al...oductinfo/U06/
