Here’s mine: 2020 S All4 in Enigmatic black. Depending on the light it’s either blue or black. It’s very cool. Traded in my 2012 R60 S. This car is so much smoother and more refined than the R60. The ride is so much better, even with the run flat tires.

It's a great image which really shows what an interesting and magical color Enigmatic Black is. Even more so than Rebel Green or BRG, Enigmatic changes with the light. Keep it clean and waxed --no swirl marks!!! Stunner.
Thanks! Well I'm already missing my light white Countryman with every little imperfection that shows on the Enigmatic black. Oh, well, it sure is purdy, though.

Black/blue would be my favorite, with the Caveat that yes it is impossible to keep looking great. If it was mine, brand new I'd get a Ceramic coating on it ASAP. Even if you just do it yourself it will help keep the car looking great. I had some high school kid do my old 2014 which is already far from perfect and it looks a lot better now. Kind of encapsulated the good with all the warts.

Interesting! I was not aware of that product. Is there a specific one you would recommend? Also, I gotta get some kind of bumper protector, too. Getting my 75 lb Labrador in and out of the boot is definitely going to take its toll on the top of the bumper.

There are a few rear bumper scuff protectors available for the F54. Some simple black, others more fancy. All easily fitted. Check with the NAM vendors. And ceramic coating has become a widely available product. Lots of videos on how to apply. Some is very expensive, but the general view is good products are available without spending a fortune. Google has all the answers. Protect that finish!!!

I did the Google thing and a couple of products are already on the way. I went with the black ABS guard from MINImania. I had a similar product on my R60 that worked great. I also went with the AvalonKing coating. We’ll see how it goes. Cheers!

I posted a link but it didn't go through. Anyhow Cquartz is what we used on the car. About $75 in materials took care of two cars, MINI & GTI. Labor was pretty inexpensive as well.
Ceramic makes it much easier to was the car, you can get away most of the time with a bucket and a no rinse wash with microfiber towels.
Installed my winter wheels and tires today. Picked up some Oz Superturismo LM wheels and transferred over my Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3’s from my Countryman wheels. The tires are 205/55/17, which is pretty darn close to stock 225/45/17.
Thanks. Have had it for a few weeks now and love it! Not the best time of year to buy in Alberta ( impossible to keep clean). Can’t wait till spring to put the 19s back on it.
I just put a new set of wheels (winter wheels and tires) on Beatrix. I was sad that MINI no longer sells their 16" winter tire package, so ended up buying a set through Tire Rack instead (I tried to give MINI more money...). They arrived just in time, I installed them with 24 hours to spare before an insane winter storm hit the Midwest.
Beatrix is finally ready to be our cross-country ski mobile. Now I just have to find some decent mud flap system to help keep some of the snow and salt off the sides and rear...

Car and winter wheels look GREAT. The quality of the finish on the paint looks factory fresh. Nice!
Love it! I have the same combo on order...enigmatic black with the brown "baseball glove" interior. Question...sometimes I see pics of the door panels WITH the brown and sometimes WITHOUT the brown. I clearly want the brown....what is the standard? my guys didn't seem to know....

I had the same thing with my dealership, they didn't know. The european configurators displayed black panels with the brown interior while the other interior colors displayed colored panels.
In the beginning of October it was corrected and I put the order for brown.
Love it...asking my dealer. question...how long did it take? my order was placed with the factory on 12/2/19...and i was told 8-12 weeks. The "Track my mini" website says the order was just put in to the cue....step 3 of 12....should be here in 1-5 weeks....not too optimistic...

Congratulations!
Make sure you have your dealer print out a Vehicle Inquiry, which will list the entire build and will show the production status. First Status 112, then Status 150. Also your VIR should show "Priority 1 -- Customer Sold." Turn around time has been fast. The big variable is getting the vehicle onto a ship. Using the MINIUSA telephone number to get build status updates is usually better than the web site, but the dealer can often get the most accurate and current info.
Once you are loaded onto a ship you can track that part. Once the ship docks and the car is offloaded, your dealer should be able to get Vehicle Delivery Center status updates.
I would suggest you send your MA an email now stating you are looking forward to taking delivery and want to confirm that, as you have discussed, you want the door panels to match the seat color. That way, if for some strange reason, your car doesn't come built the way you anticipated, the dealer can change out the door panels because that's the way you ordered it. And keep a careful eye out for ever-changing incentives -- make sure you get everything, not all of which is always listed on the MINIUSA web site. When it comes time for delivery, be sure to ask, or better still, inquire via email, "Has every available incentive been loaded into my deal?" Dealers in different regions sometimes (not always) have between $500 and $1,000 extra per deal to play with -- but if you don't ask, you may not get.
On both my custom builds my dealer sent me a VIR and had me review it with him, line by line. Always a good idea if you're particular about what you want.
good news....just confirmed that while the brown door panels aren't standard in USA builds....my guy called corporate and made it happen....fingers crossed. will be working on your suggestion of rebates/etc. as it gets closer...thx!!
