Interior Light Problem
Yesterday I noticed that the dome light and underdash lights in my car stopped working. But the reading lights still work properly. I had my car in the shop today so they looked at it and didn't know what the problem was. And it isn't the fuse. Does anyone know a way to fix this? It is a little annoying not having any light in my car at night.

Do the lights come on using the pushbutton?
Try pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds or more. Doing this toggles the lights coming on with the door opened. The lights just might be disabled.

Assuming that your lights weren't disabled...
People have reported LED failures with surprising regularity. Did they all go out at the same time, or could they have been going out and you only noticed when the final bulb went out? If your boot light is working, see what happens if you swap the bulbs between the dome and the boot.

I actually have the regular bulbs in as well. I just forgot to put that earlier. So I am running to lights essentially. Could this be the problem? Too many lights? And the boot doesn't work either with only the oem bulb.
LEDs add so little electrical load that they should not be a problem to run in parallel with the regular bulbs. However, to diagnose this problem it would be better to disconnect them and run a completely stock configuration to remove any variables. Here is how the MINI is wired:
These lights are connected on the same circuit:
reading lights (front & rear)
vanity mirror lights
glovebox light
These are on a different circuit:
footwell lights
dome light
The boot light is on its own separate circuit.
By different "circuits" I mean separate power outputs from the BC1 computer. The fuse for all interior lighting is F14. Your symptoms are unusual and I'm not sure what to recommend. It's possible that your BC1 computer is at fault (hope you are still under warranty).

Unfortunately I am not under warranty anymore. I think BMW plans it this way. I think some other things are going bad on my car as well. And only 54,000 miles on my 2002. I need to find a wrecked MINI to buy parts from I think.
Also, have you tried reversing the polarity of the led bulbs (assuming they are wedge bulbs)?

The LED's are wired in and I used the info I found from the "light that boot" thread on here. Unfortunately it sounds like it is going to be expensive to fix. The dark has never sounded so good.
