Retrofit pre '05 clock

Thanks to info in this thread,:I decided to try and retrofit the '05 maplight/airbag light assembly in the headliner with the pre '05 clock. The housing does indeed fit perfectly in the area occupied by the maplight assembly. The maplight connector disconnects easily. The airbag light does too, but to avoid a problem, I kept it plugged in, and popped out the entire thing (round, black "airbag off" light) from the gray housing. I then just put that and the lighting wires back up into the headliner.

Here's the problem: the digital clock itself has a connector with 6 pins, i.e. 3 over 3. The plug for the maplights is just 3 in a row, and the airbag one doesn't come close. Anyone have any idea on this? I looked on realoem for a 6-pin plug, but no luck. I was thinking (uh oh), the maplight plug has 3 wires, ground, positive, and i assume a signal. There HAS to be a way to connect this to the 6-pin clock.

HELP!??

Hi, did you ever get the clock to work?
I am thinking of doing this myself. Also, does the clock have the 2 orange ambient lights in it?
