Wiring Question

X11177
Pin 3
I know one end is at the speedo, I need to know where the other end goes and what it does.
Also how to bridge the connector for an OBC install, would be helpful.
TIA

Well I looked it up in the bently wiring diagram and it shows it going to fuse 5 (5amp), but there is a splice in the wire and the diagram does not show where it goes. I pulled the fuse and ran the cluster self check, but did not see any change. All I can tell is you that it is giving power to something. If I find anything else I will let you know. Now I'm curious.

The instuctions for the obc are at mini2.com. in the faq/diy section.

Thanks foe the info, I saw the pdf and couldn't conclusively tell where it goes to, that same pdf in the begining said that it was okay to bridge, or double connect any ports already in use but I don't want to tap into anything I don't know where it goes b/c I'm still well w/in warranty and don't want to pay for a remiring cause I screwed something up. All projects were put on hold today do to high amts of local traffic everything was essentaly shut down and I couldn't get to a radioshack for parts to tap in to the current wire. I'm currently debating if I want to wait or just do it.
