2005 Rear Fog Wiring Harness for Cars built W/O it

Does anyone know anything about this? Part number and install hours would be awesome. I have a July 2004 05 model and have everything else installed - switchbank, light etc..

wire harness

Hey krut,
There's a guy whose NAM name is minirolls I ordered a harness from him. He's getting 25.00 a piece which is fair I think.
He builds them himself. PM me and I'll give you his email
Later,
Bill

Second that suggestion. I just received his kit. Haven't had a chance to install it on my Sept. '04 build MCS but I can tell you that the quality of his kit is top-notch.

The kit has an OEM light plug with connectors soldered to four feet of wire with quick clips to connect the wires to the tailight plug. Comes with color instructions.

I have the same problem with my 05 s. Did not realize the harness was not there till somewhere somebody here posted it. I asked my dealer to enable it when I picked it up new. Thinking later buy the light and the switch panel. Where exactly from the rear fog, does the harness go? This was a rip off crappy deal they put on us.

It does not work as a rear fog light. The harness runs from the light to the drivers tail light connector. The harness plugs directly into the light

As I am still patiently waiting for a suitable solution to getting a rear foglight wired up in my early build 2005 MCS, another idea occured

How about putting a reverse light from a 2004 MCS in place and wiring it up as a reverse light. My thoughts are that the 2005 reverse lights aren't really bright enough anyways. An additional light would suit me fine.

As anybody made this work?

We will refer you to Mini-rolls once again as he has a kit for that too.

Just finished my install yesterday, it went flawlessly. Great product great instructions with pictures. Even the most novice mech can accomplish this mod. Give mini-rolls a shout and get the parts you need. Its easy and fun. I highly recommend it. Gives "Spike" the added visibility he was wanting.
